The Confluence Chart Lab
Where theory meets deliberate practice: bar-by-bar historical replay drills, objective confluence scoring, and live instructor markup reviews.
Building Pattern Recognition Through Repetition
Reading textbooks and memorizing candlestick patterns is only the preliminary phase of technical market education. The actual skill of an analyst develops in the hours spent interpreting messy, unscripted chart conditions in real time.
The Think Orbit Base Confluence Chart Lab is our signature practice environment. Inside the lab, practitioners engage in structured simulation exercises where future price action is concealed. Students must map macro levels, verify volume distribution, score indicator alignment, and declare precise invalidation targets before advancing the chart bar-by-bar.
The 5 Stages of a Chart Lab Session
A systematic drill framework repeated across hundreds of historical market scenarios.
Blind Setup Load
A random historical market asset is loaded at an undisclosed date with right-hand candles hidden, presenting a fresh, unbiased scenario.
Macro Frame Mapping
The practitioner constructs top-down weekly and daily support/resistance bounds, trendline anchors, and major structural inflection zones.
Confluence Scoring
Applying our standardized 3-point checklist: measuring Volume Profile Point of Control, VWAP standard deviation, and RSI/MACD divergence state.
Invalidation Declaration
Prior to taking any theoretical trade, the practitioner writes down the exact structural price level that proves the trade thesis invalid.
Bar-by-Bar Replay
Advancing the candles one at a time to experience the psychological pressure of holding through pullbacks and managing position rules.
Coach Teardown
Senior coaches Somchai or Jennifer review your markup, identifying subtle indicator lag or confirmation bias, providing detailed constructive feedback.
